10years is the usual limit and then it's their discretion.

for your inforamtion i was quoted £1153 with a £400 excess this year becuase i lost my NCB as a result of a knock. However i got a quote from Heritage Insurance on 0121 246 6062 who will insure it as a classic for £500 with a £350 excess and a resticted milage of 5000.

5000 miles?!

its not a lot, but then i guess it depends on how much stuff goes wrong and how long its in the garage for repairs!
