what does this light mean/do?

when you switch the ignition on before starting the car the battery light is on but there's also another round red light next to it witch goes out once you,ve started the car.

whats this?

its gone out on my car but it still starts ok and runs ok

any ideas??

The only round red light is the water temp warning light.

on mine it always used to come on before the car was started, is that normal or is normal how it is now :? :-k

If you are talking about the water temp warning light, it should come on with the ignition and go out once the engine is started.

cheers mat, it must be the water temp warning then.

guess it's just a bulb then or another loose connection :roll:
