Most valvers power steering are a bit noisy mate. The sqeeling is most likely the belt.

vibrating and really loud noise cud be loss of fluid, mines leaking from column to rack unions n have to top it up every few thou miles! use slick 50, good stuff!

Mine sounds fooking terrible sometimes, howls like a bitch.

Then sometimes when you turn it within 30 seconds and just starting off on journey it makes a really loud grinding type noise (it isnt grinding tho). Still i dont have the cash to replace it and it still works....Just :P

yes, theres a kidney shaped resevoir next to the left hand side engine mount, undo and top up untill the fins dissapear.

My kidneys aren't that shape dude.

If it's making a grinding noise then it needs

a: Bleeding
b: If a does not work then it needs a new pump.

try workin the system, it made even more of a change to mine.

with the car jacked up, i turned lock to lock around 10 with engine off. then dont it agian 10 timeswith engine runnong (still jacked up). then i put the car back down and did it again. 10 times with engine off 10 times with it on etc. my fluid level dropped alot after, so im asumming mine had an airlock?
