got a new uprated fuelpump fitted when the conversion first got done as my other one was about to die, never got it fitted after the second eng change as the garage did'nt have time to fit it, what does the heatwrap do and do i need it??

Heatwrap will keep the heat inside the exhaust and stop it from heating the engine bay up so much - hopefully will mean that the car runs a little bit cooler. :)

Oh, and I believe the rule is the hotter the exhaust, the more flames you might get on the overrun ;)

and an increased thermal efficency of the exhuast mite free up a little torque and bhp.

more so on turbo cars, but the theory still remains.

i need to get mine wrapped asap. keep those under bonnet temps down!
