anybody had any experience with these tyres coz they are dam cheap and look pretty good but i dont wanna buy and they end up being crap

want a set for good road and good track!!

well thats not too bad as i dont really like ragging my car in the wet anyways!!


so they would be worth the money then, just looking at the deal, they are selling them for £25 quid each and they are charging £9.95 to deliver all 4 tyres to my door!!!

T1-S is the old and shiter version, T1-R's are very good awesome in the dry pretty good in the wet, but pants in the damp

dont they make the t1-s's anymore then??? if so i take it the t1-r's are a direct replacement for them????

I had some nankangs on my old 106 xsi, for the price i thought they were great... quite a tough compound !

Nice looking flared V grooves, which should throw out water nicely in soaking conditions. But I don't see silica being mentioned in the blurb, so might get a bit slidey on damp surfaces.

Small asian tyre brands are getting better these day. If you are looking for cheap performance tyres; also check out the latest models from Hankook(z212), Maxxis(ma-z1) and Nexen(n3000). Not too sure if they come in 15" though.

But, IMHO, with F1-GSD3 going for so little money these days - I don't think any 15" tyres can compete with the F1 for performance/value.

Edit: Just read Lunner's post on price for T1-R, that look pretty good value too.

Never used T1-S's, btu apparently the T1-R's are alot better in the wet

I had Nankack tyres once. Didn't like them at all. They are cheap for a reason. :lol:

they are actually quite good in the dry, Nankangs, especially for the price, but as above they are piss poor in the wet
