Does anyone know how much new front springs from renault are,

Can i use lowering springs on standard shocks?

last time i priced em up from reno.....only place that sells em genuine i believe.

they were.........£70 odd + VAT each.


was a couple years ago like.......i opted for the not much dearer AVO coilover set in the end tho lol.

as above, about £70, got the part number at home.

Richy has gone for 200lb custom springs made up to the same height, recons its really good

paid £450 for mine.

when u consider that 2 springs are nearly 1/2 that from reno......think it was a bargain meself lol.

Williams Springs are the same as 172 springs, so you might be able to pick up an ebay bargain? I got mine for £30 from someone on CS.

Or you can get 172 Cup springs for a slightly lower, slightly firmer ride. (which is what I've got :))

I checked when I renewed my dampers and Willy and 16v are both just white, as is the 172, according to Renault Manchester.

All the same part nos as well.
