Well guys...after hearing thru the grapevine that some people have developed the opinion that i am a chav i thought i wud devote myevening to finding myself the perfect outfit for FCS....

I don't really know who every categorised "chav" into the modding scene.
I mean "chav" is nothing to do with cars at all.
It means, Council Housed And Violent.
I'm sure, any "Chav" would not be able to afford a car fullstop, or pay to modify it, it's an expensive jobby!
I think there's only 3 main categories, "subtle", "barry", or "euro".
I never understood where "chav" came into the scene!
at the end of the day its peoples opinions aint it!
i think some things on peoples cars look shite but its their pride & joy so woteva floats their boat! i aint one 2 tell em its rubbish unless i'm a close friend then i'll say woteva i think!
if u showed a standard williams to someone in the modded scene they will laugh!

I didn't mean it was purely down to that term, as I'm sure there are perfectly normal people living in council houses.
I was just drawing the attention away from cars, as i don't think the two really associate together.

Given the choice I think most car 'enthusaists' would rather have a standard willy than a fillered up carnival float :wink:
The term chav actually comes from gypsies who used to call their babies chavvies.

And
Violant
was just something someone made up because it fits, that isnt actually the termonology for it.
chav now is more a image thing...not where you live.
Before my dad became a managing director i lived on a council estate, and i was a right violant ****er, but i wasnt a chav, and was never ever called one.
but i bet if i wore burberry & henry lloyd and wore elizabeth duke rings and necklaces i would of been classed a chav
these days most chavs [if they own a car] modify it to silly extremes, so now modified cars are classed as 'chav' cars.
Usually small engined, but look like they can get good speed.
thats why a modified skyline/civic type r/scoob/evo/etc etc isnt classed as a 'chav' car, its catagorised as a beast! or whatever
but i do doubt that a williams in a modded scene would be black sheeped, because they dont look untouched [bonnet bulge, fat arches] and they r rapid, ive been to modifying scenes in a williams and valver and ppl love them - because of their image and engine
