Rite... if ur drivin along at say 30.... then take ya foot off the accelerator and stick the car in 2nd... then coast along... will it eventually stall??

Coz last nite wen i was droppin lucy off i was bein extra quiet down her road so thought i wud leave it in 2nd till it stopped... then it jus kept goin! wen i went uphill slightly it wud start to shudder....then before it stalled it wud pick itslef up again and carry on!

we thought we wud b constructive n c how far it goes...but then after about 7 roads someone was behind me so had to put me foot down...

i was well impressed drivin like a granny doin less than 10 mph wiv me feet off the pedals!

your idle is probably too high, this would make the car keep running...

used to do that in my old car in traffic jams by using the choke :)

Should just stop and stall, could be automatic choke screwing about

....and wrong section

erm, most modern cars you can leave in 2nd and they will drive themselves at about 5-10mph... :?

its perfectly normal, it will do that fine... modern being cars build after 1990 will do it no problem... mine does it so does my gfs
