still pops out of 5th

when i got the car it poped out of 5th
iv recently had dog mount and new g.box oil hoping that will cure it but it aint
i know gearbox rebuild is dear so wot are my other options before i spent money i aint got (few month to save atleast)
it is better than it was but cant rely on it 100% on motorway
also i find if i lift clutch fast it seems to stay in 5th better than if i lift it slow it pops out easy every other gear is sorted no probs
