I did that once, although i stopped when i heard it clunking back and forth everytie i stopped or pulled away, borrowed a wheel brace from halfords to tighten it up

was only slow, 10 - 15 mph 20 tops. still i drove it on the disc for about 20 metres :lol:

I drove at 80 down a d/c and round islands for about 20 miles before i stopped and worked out what it was....could have been nasty

I think gutted, bizzare and funny is how I felt when I read it. Also glad that it was a slow speed prang and no one was hurt. Been in similar scrape and, imho, laughing these things off is the best way to look at it. Hope it don't cost too much, that's all.

Heh, and that scrape was wrapping a Suzuki driver door round a pillar while reversing at 3 kph. I was turned inside, looking back but should have known the crunching sound was not a good sign. Only realised it after clearing the driveway. No end of ribbing from the panel beaters. Hee!

I stopped before it happened to me. Shot round a roundabout just before i pulled over. Luckily i had turbines on and the centre cap held a bolt on enough to keepthe wheel on.
