All you need to do is highlight the pic link and press the button that says 'IMG'

It should put [img] [img] around the link

Then the pics will come up here

And how is the roof coping with all the track action ? Are there any dents around the sunroof corners ?

mark what suspension set-up u using then just std or u got some different uprated springs now?

Mark_Ritchspeed
25-03-2005, 16:13
Yep , my old Willy 3 . Quite possible still my favourite car I have ver owned . Not 100% sure , but I heard the next owner wrote it off not long after getting it from me.

It was basically standard apart from Wilwood brakes , Devil exhaust and Hillpower induction kit & chip .

I cant remember having any probs with the roof , but it would have been extremely rare for it be clean enough to see .

How the hell do u get a williams to lean like that....

http://cgi.nickywitts.plus.com/uploads/willyairfield.jpg

What speed were u doing ?

Mark_Ritchspeed
25-03-2005, 16:19
Approach the corner much faster than expected , brake extremely late and be very aggressive on the steering . Not necessarily the quickest , but easily the most fun . As long as the front turns in , you can do what you want with the rear-end.

I would be happy to demonstrate if someone lent me a standard Willy to play with ?

I think my current one still leans when running slicks , even with 220lbs springs on the front. It does corner a bit quicker than the old one though.

im running your old 165lbs avo springs mark, not had chance to get it on track yet, other bits keep breaking lol!

Are they the standard height ones but with uprated poundage? How are you getting on with them ?

IIRC they had hardly any use at all with me.

KingStromba

Impresive stuff there mate. So does the chassis still turn in, even with too much speed, so as long as the brakes and your reactions can deal with the mess it still goes round the corner fine?

Mark_Ritchspeed
25-03-2005, 19:20
Never fails to turn in until the outside edges of the front tyres get worn . Once they have gone understeer here we come .

You ever knocked the front splitter off with a turn in?

You ever knocked the front splitter off with a turn in?

Not as yet , but thw wheel cant go into the arch any further anyway . If you look inside my arches there are no splash gaurds (always getting ripped out) and the paint is worn away to bare shiny metal .
