speedo prob

gave it some beans earlier and my speedo shot up down and all over the shop, then it died :( I gave it a good smack and it came to life again :P
But now it keeps randomly dieing on me :x Any ideas?

Is it just a new cable needed?

check the clip where the cable goes into the instrument panel and the one where it goes into the gearbox final drive, mite just of popped out! if not then new cable time!!

this happens with my rev counter....need 2 change the motor thing that moves the needle i think
