Thursday 27th Apr £119 is looking favourite for me at the mo....
April 15th would be my preferred date, but that's because I might be going to Ireland around then, and Holyhead is only around the corner from Anglesey :P
But by the time u've paid for the extra petrol for getting from Oulton Park to Anglesey u might aswell have paid the extra and done Oulton Park??
Thought u were doing Cadwell???
I can't make any of them sorry, FCS next for me.
I'm doing cadwell as well Gaz 8) ....ty croes is 119 and oulton is 200+ ...I'm just too tight to pay that sort of cash for a track day! lol
Looks like the bookatrack days are sessions zollo so I doubt I'll bother with them....ah well.
Hmmm, we'll scrap that idea then!
I was thinking of doing some of the Renault Sport Track Days???.....Brands Hatch and Oulton again???
Well as soon as booking starts, I'm booking up Brands on 21st. I thought that one was a definate?
Richy is going isn't he?
Yeah definate for me... :D
Think so....I'll start a thread soon.

linky? I'd love to mix up with some 172/182s 8)
Brands zollo? I'm in the dark here
Gaz, you're not doing your job! Communication has gone to pot!
R-Sport Track Days as advised by richy....
30 June is still Oulton Park
21 August will now be Brands Hatch
Cadwell will be September 20th
Prices normally around £150
lol....be concentrating on filling FCS places.... :?
Not sure when booking starts on these??
I'm hoping to do....
FCS (definate)
Oulton Park
Brands Hatch (definate)
Then hopefully a Club day @ Cadwell.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing, but....
Scrap Oulton and replace it with the Ring. It'll not cost too much more :?
If I'm able to do the ring it would have to be as late on as poss.
How about...
FCS - May
Cadwell (with Pug guys) - July
Brands - August
Ring - September
I need to speak to Kev about the Club Day....doubt I'd be able to afford the Ring this year tbh.
Reno sport days sound like fun....
mmmm the ring!
Is Brands the Indy circuit as that looks a bit pish?
Yeah, it's the Indy circuit. It's only about a minute long, but even then it's an awesome track to do 8)
Brands GP Circuit is £299....
Ah it's always good fun doing a new circuit.....sod the GP circuit lol Probably be too big anyway
R-Sport Track Days should be live and able to book at the end of this month.

Agreed....R/sport days sound good, having it out with 172/182's with drivers that can't drive for shit
Looking at the pics of the RS day at Cadwell, it seems there are going to be some serious scalps. Can't see it being that easy tbh :(

Don't get you... :? what pics? whose gonna get scalped? Can't see what being easy? Was there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll? What came first the chicken or the egg? :?:
The crow flies at dawn. You didn't see me. Right?

I'll explain myself now
I was kinda replying to Lunner's post...

These are the pics I was on about.... http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/trackdays/imagegallery/october2005/
Seems to be a few decidedly quick looking cars, hence the "it seems there are going to be some serious scalps (for us to compete with)" and it not being as easy as Lunner is making out.
Geddit?!

How the hell has Yoz (I assume it's him) managed to get his front wheel off the floor?
Only ever seen that on RWD cars.
He's hit the rumble strips

Here's one I did earlier :)
Averaging 23.9mpg, fuel cost for the entire trip (Southampton and back) came to approximately £140, not including lapping. At almost 13 miles a lap, and maybe 15 laps in a weekend, you're looking around 200 miles or track driving, so say another £80 in fuel. Thankfully you don't encounter any tolls on the journey along the E40.
A one day return for a Eurotunnel crossing was £39, with flexible arrive/depart (probably a good idea). However, a weekend return pushes the price up substantially to £193, again with flexible timings. If you’d prefer a ferry crossing, a weekend return would be £95 for driver and one passenger. For ease of use though, the Eurotunnel is worth the extra, particularly if you can share the cost with passengers.
If you are staying for the weekend, expect to pay slightly less than you’d pay here for accodomation - £40 for a twin room.
Once you get there, you can spend as much as you want lapping the Ring. A single lap pass is roughly £10.50, a five lap (one-day) pass £42, a six lap (weekend) pass £57, and for 12 laps over a weekend it would be £108. There are ‘Jehreskarte’ passes which entitle you to unlimited track use for the whole year, available for £524. You’d have to make sure you went regularly though, as the break-even point for the pass is 60 laps. Good excuse if you ask me…..
(that was at 2004-2005 prices, so it may have gone up slightly now)

Prices have gone up for fewer laps.
Best time to go is during the week according to my research.
Once my engfine is rebuilt and run in i'll be attending as many track days as poss
