I've always wondered why it goes up so much. There's barely any extra power and they can't seriously be thinking that a valver with a 2.0 is somehow worth as much as the 'special edition' Williams that commands much higher resale prices?? :? Surely that resale price is what dictates most of the insurance group hike to 17 from 12? I mean, you can mod a valver past 150bhp and still pay less than a williams with 150bhp as standard!

Only goes up if you tell them

im a bit gutted at a willy being group 17 my last car was 7 so mine almost doubled

Has anyone got a quote for just a willy-track conversion?

I've got to ring the insurance people but don't fancy explaining what all the parts are to some girl 4000 miles away...
