Hello all, just brought a Willy3 but off road having steering column sorted because of some play. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thought I'd say "Hi" and hope to meet some of you lot sometime at a meet.
Only done just over 100 miles since buying my willy and have to say "The Willys got to be one of the best handling cars I've ever owned!!!".

See ya later..

Sad to say YES!!, but luckily Im only paying for the parts as I've managed to talk a mate into fitting it for me...
It's still costing me enough though, thought about getting it welded but he talked me out of it!! Would welding it have done the same job then?

I feel a right plank!!! Must be probably the only person to fork out for a new steering column instead of getting it welded!!!

Yes I would. Does feel different by all accounts. I'm a sucker for new Renault parts, expensive but well worth it.
