that head and kent cams i bought of ebay, had it sent straight to benr at awt to assess it and then had it bowl/port job etc done on it, going to use the kent cams in it as they are new along with new pulleys (not kent!!) so hopefully should see some nice gains. waiting to hear from ben when he gets it (should be tomorrow hopefully) maybe he could get some pics up of it before and after as well.

well i havent decided yet. well respected garage that i use for all my work says to use the standard pulleys as can time in accuratley enough. verniers to get the timing spot on but are u really going to notice enough difference over the standards?? plus they wont fail. !!!

Jim,

are you having the head skimmed, 3 angle valve seats, port and polish etc and is that all for 375?

Cheers

Danny

Danny, yes.

Jim......std ones CAN be used as verniers if you machine off the locating keys, there are just no markings then, but not a problem for someone who know that they are doing. The difference when it comes to timing is in one hundreths of a mm on overlap, so it is quite important.

Used them twice now, anything up to 30kg next day for a tenner
