Hello all

I have this recurring noise when driving in a stright line and when cornering left, its like a wub wub wub wub wub wub wub noise that only occurs over 2000 rpm and gets quicker as the car moves up the rev range.

When i corner to the right the noise dissapears.

The noise sounds like its coming from the N/S front wheel, it started happening about 2 months ago.

The clutch needs changing on the car i know that and the tracking needs looking at as its out, could it be anything else dya reackon?

Cheers

Matt

already told you it's bearings! if it's that same noise mine used to make replace both front bearings and it will be reet. mine only did it on slight left turns to start with and would get louder as the revs went up... until it hit 3.5k in 5th where you cant actually hear **** all other than droning exhaust anyway... lol

Can i do wheel bearings myself?, or do i need a press to whack the ****er into the hub?

Jack the car up and check for play in the wheels you might even be able to hear it by spinning it with your hand.
If it does it when you turn left it's your right hub bearing vice versa.
