ive bought a rocker cover that iam going to spray up, the only thing is i want it a really deep red, as my car is naples red, can you get this sort of paint that is heat proof? or can you get heatproof primer instead? also does any1 no people that do carbon fibre spark plug covers?

the rocker doesnt get extremely hot. powder coating is another option.... which is how i done mine :)
altough im sure people have used normal spray paint before

ive got a carbon fibre spark plug cover and inlet manifold cover

i got them off ebay about 6 weeks ago now, iirc the person that was selling them was carbonnut, who is no longer trading so i'm not sure where you could get one now, best bet is to keep checking ebay :)
hows powder coating different from normal?
powder coating uses charged particles of paint n a current through the thing being coated, so it attracts the paint n bonds it. much tougher and more resiliant than spraying! best of going for that for rocker cover tbh, i sprayed my spark plug well liner with heat proof paint and it peeled in seconds!! :oops:
im gona spray my cover....sanded it all down just needs smoothing and then its time 4 the primer....i got a feelin im gona end up powder coatin it though
