whats everyones thoughts on turbines on a ph2 M reg black 16v

just got some pretty cheap and i prefer them on black clio's

got the origonal ph2 alloys with centre caps on at minute

phase 2's for a phase 2 car mate imo, turbines look good but only polished ad only on phase 1 black valvers!

I was gonna put Turbs on my Phs2, but went against the idea and kept my minty fresh phs2 rims.

Still might paint them black, but I think they look miles better than turbs now :D

Definitely Turbines. Phase 2 wheels look too much like wheel trims to me.

see thats exactly what i think bout turbines, solid in the middle n little venty bits round the circumference, its a wheel trim!! :D

I like phase 2's. Turbines are not my thing, they have to be super mint to look ok. Phase 2's look more modern, turbines look like wheel trims.

i think i may agree with the phase 2 wheels looking better.....now i have a minty mint set of black turbines and i am beginning to think they look like wheel trims...i need new wheels soon i think

willy wheels all the way.

i hate my black phase 2's, but needs must as winter wheels. white willy wheels aint the most practical for winter use you see!

hopefully by next winter i will have :

white willy wheels (road use - summer)
white turbines (road use - winter (skinny tyres))
white team dynamics pro race 1.2's (track and 1/4miling - semi slicks)

Ive now come to the conclusion that for next winter im "winter prepping" the clio - raise the coilovers up past std ride height and fitting skinny'er tyres. Last couple of days has been a nitemare with over a foot of snow to try and drive in! :evil: Hopefully that will be the last of it now tho....
