that got your attention   The temp of my engine always gets pretty hot. Around 2/3 is normal for me, even on the motorway :? but im not too bothered, if it creeps up any higher i normally blast hot air out of the ffor a bit...

Anyway when driving home tonight i was stuck in traffic and it started to get hot as per usual. it went past the 2/3 mark s i put the fans on.... but NO heat came out?!?!?! the water temp started getting seriously hot at this point and i was thinking of pulling over before a hose burst or something...

The traffic cleared a bit and i moved... this must have forced some air into the system because hot air finally started to flow.

has anyone else had a problem like this or have any idea what could be up?.

PS last time i flushed my coolant, it was all flowing through as normall but then it seemed a bit blocked , or definitely restricted through the radiator side of the system.. Could this be my prob?> new rad needed??

cheers n sorry for the waffle

Heater matrix sounds as tho its blocked.

Pipe won't blow, teh pressure cap on the top of the expansion tank should blow first unless you have old shitty hoses
