Well i bought a valver one, but its too big to fit into the 1.4 spi tank. I was wondering if there was diffrent sized ones?? :? :?

should fit AFAIK the main tanks are the same across the mk1 clio range

But the pump is physically too big to fit in the little hole (oh er) ;)

There are 2 types of fuel pump, the modern mk1's have the fuel pump and sender together which is the bigger unit, and the rarer clios have the pump on its own and the sender under the rubber cap.
My 16v is running the rarer setup.
I see uprated fse ones on ebay which look like they would fit the rarer style for like £80.

It aint standard though Lunner, 1.4 > 1.7turbo, so Dave quite rightly wants to uprate the fuel pump!
