Guys, i'm looking at the selling the Willy or even maybe break it for parts.

How much do you think it's worth???

Willy 3 - apparently only one known without a sunroof.
74K
GDI engine Rebuild at 58K with Piper 275 Cams
Full Devil Exhaust System
Scorpion Decat
Oil changed every 6000 Miles
Pioneer DEH - 77MP Head Unit
Pioneer Speakers in the front and door cards - have to check model no's
Rust...more like rott on drivers side rear arch.
Needs new front bumper and grill.
Dent on bonnet.
Clifford Concept 550 alarm with remote engine (intellistart) option.
Fitted Goodyear F1 GSD3's only a month ago, not even done a 1000 miles in them.

lol

technically you dont need to lube the cams. as long as plenty oil is round them before they are run in it should be fine! (or as far as i know!)

bodywork is in a rite mess, looks like its had a few nocks. wont drive as it should! crashed cars never do!

engine and running gear prob worth 1-1.5k. shell is prob worth fook all.

be lucky to get 1.5-2k for the whole thing!

Well I've had no probs with GDI, and I still think to this day his work is mint.

2 Live, all comments are welcome in this thread, everyone has their own opinnion. I don't exactly know what happened with your motor but i'm guessing you had some sort of bad experience with them?

The way things are currently going - odds are I am going to break it.

Who the **** do you think you are??

I dont know the full story either, and the same as you I have heard the 'rumours'.....However I have had personal experiance with GDi being one of the 1st if not the 1st to have a willy transplant done by them and the work was spot on.....I also know of at least 6 others that have had work done there and have all been more then happy like myself with the advice/quality of work and price. So why dont you take some of your own advice and shut the **** up

Jamie.

you will easily make 1500 in bits imo. i mean ebaying the carpets, seat belts and side strips will prob get u 150, then the interior and wheels must push that to 600 ish, then u have engine and box, manifold and ecu which must be worth 800?
or u could just spend 500 on it and get the bodywork repaired and sell it for 2.5k. on trader it would go quick when u have had a rebuild regardless of opinions on the work/quality, and the body will be ok then.
like u say, u dont have the know how or anywhere to store a car when breaking

if u knew anything about the cars and how they work, how to do the repairs/upgrades urself.......and bin given the sales bullshit off them, and quotes for work thats nigh on impossible, nor worth doing........ud be of the same opinion as me lol.

like most tuning companies....they rip u off......and the performance of their work is as yet unproven.......i mean....they havent even built an engine that can beat mine yet.... mine was built in the kitchen and im not a supposed expert tuner........this doesnt only count for gdi either.
