I have just been payed and was thinking about some brake upgrade. Mark said the calipers are the week point, so is there any point staying standard and getting some replacements? Mine have done 140,000 miles now. Does it sound like i need new ones?

If so do i upgrade and if so what too?

The way i see it if you knock the braking zone down you save a shed load of time round a track pretty inexpensively.

Cheers :D

lol.i bin sayin that for ages mate..best way to improve the brakes on ours is to fit 4 pots...........i reckon the wilwood is a good deal tbh..... and they are highly regarded on the market

Shouldn't do danny as it's not a power upgrade. If anything you should argue a saving!

apparently it does go up because you have tampered with a safety device! don't quote me on htat but i'm sure i read it on one of the renault forums

You can see the kits on rallydesign.co.uk KS. When I upgrade I'll be going Wilwood route I reckon.

Prices coming very soon . Within next week or two at the very latest . The kits will also be considerably cheaper* than the Rally Design ones . :D

*Cheaper, as in better value , not worse quality . For those that think the more they spend the better something is.

Thats the same set-up as I currently have on mine . The new kits will be coming with Forged Dynalites , although I am able to do the kits with the older Dynalite 2's for around £20 less .

Wilwood 4 pots on some Rally design stnd size discs....can't really comment on how I rate them as they need the fluid changing...
