View Full Version : Shit Brakes
Just driving back down the motorway i go to press the brake and the pedal disappered right to the floor, go into town and i can hear a griding noise from the rear i think.
Again the pedal going to the floor, now when i changed down gear and press the pedal sometimes it would be firm and then gradully the more its pressed the looser it gets.
Also the handbrake is very loose too now,
whats the problem?

oh
could be brake fade.. if the pad's metal to metal wiv the disc and you been braking from high speed could have overheated the fluid.
have u checked the pads?
not checked anything as yet, was too dark when i got home.
Haynes reckons either
1. Brake Master Cylinder
2. Air in the system
3. Brake Servo
