View Full Version : Air filter for 16v what one and where from????

hi i would like some advice on what air filter i should get i have a de-cat and a full devil exhaust

i have been told to keep the air box

any help would be good

Nah get an i/k valvers sound the dogs with them fitted... who cares if u lose 2/3 bhp.. not like u will notice 8)

Just gone from a K&N Panel Filter in std airbox, to a pipercross Induction kit.

OMG, they noise is terrific and far too addictive. The noise only kicks in when you use the second stage of the throttle. In this cold weather i cant detect any power losses, still quick.

Wait till Summer..

My Willy 3 had an Open Induction Kit on, and well.. midrange, it was dead. It felt like it was producing about half the power it should.. :(

Anything above 10c, I really noticed it..

Sound good tho - on full chat, all it made was noise.. (oh, and pulled me forward a bit ;) )

thanks for the info but i think i will got for for the std air box can anyone give me ifo between the "green" and the itg???

i no one is cotton and one is foam are ther both washable?

might as well go for the best!
