Is it true if ur travelling long distances, using 5w40 oil is not so good for ur engine as it gets so thin? I'm using Silkoline Pro, which seems like a very good winter oil.

never heard that one mate! and alot of willy owners on here use 5w 40 as well!

why would it........at running temp its the same thickness as a 10W-40 or 15W-40..........

I use CarLube TripleR 5w-40 these days, as I can get them cheap and it has quite a few industry certification on the tin. Engine is now about 120k miles operating in mostly 40C+ tarmac temps.
