Well, I love the Xsara. Different ball game really, but I love that chassis. It gives you a challenge that's for sure. BTW if it's for comfort I reckon the Xsara's better. If not then I don't reckon a 306 is a bad choice at all. Not sure they're quicker than a willy though. In fact, they aren't. :P

My wife had a gti-6 a few years back, awful car, was a right crate, i now steer well clear of pugs, although perhaps was just unlucky and had a bad one.
although also had a 205 gti and that was just as bad

I was lookin about for one a few months ago but not to sure on them would need a test drive. It wouldn't be like buying the Williams for me as I was buying that no matter what.

I like the 106 GTI's but if u've already had a Paxo there the same car really.

richy

yup had a paxo and dont really wanna go back to that or 106, just gonna run this laguna for a while, its really cheap to insure lol, impressed!

Hmm just had a quick look at the Xsara VTS on Trader.....seem like a lot of car for the money.

What do they go like Mike??...Are they the same engine as the GTI-6???

Also looked at the Bravo HGT!

Same engine and chassis Gaz. Only got the 5spd 'box. Some prefer the 6spd but TBH I don't. One of the reasons Steph came round to getting one was the cheapness of them. No one wants one you see, as the 306 is more desirable.

If you ever want a mooch around it give us a shout. I'm sure Steph wouldn't mind. Funnil enough she nearly got a Bravo HGT awhile back! We liked it but it did have that air of Italian build quality to me. For a french car the Xsara's a re rally well screwed together imo.

mmmm GTI-6! I love em! Me and boyf used to have one never had any problems, apart from the clutch cable snapping in a multistory car park, then the RAC van was too big to get into the car park!

lol^^^

yeah im gonna get a tow bar fitted to it Si, then can take clio about if need

ive driven the xsara vts before but it had daft 17" alloys which kinda ruined it! felt good tho
