:lol: Right just got of the phone to my mate. He was leavin his mates house turned out the drive and did a Little (yer right) wheelspin. so littel i blue smoked.... :wink: any way then it stopped. with no drive or n e thing. there was no pop or crunch.

He says he can get all gears while the engine is runnung but clutch not down :shock: and the spedo goes up..

Not i recon from that its gotta be the Diff but thought i'd ask you lot. touch wood i'd never had one go (i've said it now lol)

If its the diff caan you swap it with the box in or is it box out.....

Sounds like the diff circlip has popped out.

Yeah, Defo sounds like the diff circlip.
Whip off the nearside driveshaft and you'll see it.

easy fix.....driveshaft out..ul then see the inner pot in the box, theres a circlip and a washer holdin it in.


piece of piss.

hopefully ul be lucky and the circlip will have just bent, iv seen a few snap and little bits disappear into the box....not good for the longevity of the box lol.

was defo the circlip when i pulled the drive shaft out it was bent and the metal "washer" behind it was snaped!
