Was cracking day.....apart from the 10 red flags or so lol Should be some cracking footage flying about shortly....most of them with Zollo having some influence! Your a nutter lol or maybe a good driver or both? :wink: I need to get my car sorted so it stops like the nana...eye opening passenger laps!
Gaz have you disconnected the battery?
What a day, and what a track :twisted: . Scary in the morning, having not ever been there before, but once it had dried out 8) . Great fun chasing after a very twitchy lightweight Clio :wink:
I reckon Oulton is more difficult to learn than Cadwell. I really should have had an instructor, cos some of the lines I was taking must have been rubbish! Was using 4 gears in the morning, but only 2 by the end of the day :shock:
Pain in the bloody arse all those red flags though. All those racers need to buy a reliable car and learn how to drive :P . Still, was pretty awesome having 360 Challenge Stradales, F40s, GT3 RSs, ect blasting past. Bloody Ginettas though :roll:
And big thanks to Gaz for letting me out in the Banana. I want it. Coilovers and all :shock:
Eye excellent day couldn't have had better weather really....was gonna be damp in the morning no matter what the weather at this time of the year....but once it dried out I couldn't get enough.
Was the worse day I've had for red flags and those Ginetta things were pissing me right off.... :x
The guys waving the flags could learn to wave that blue flag a bit more and not just when they see a car that looks faster!!!!.....Got stuck behind one of those Ginetta's for a lap and no blue flag got waved even though I was stuck up his arse and making hand gestures at the marshalls... :oops: ....then a 360 comes flying up behind us and there waving the flag like thier life depended on it!!
Anyway top day and Oulton is a brilliant track and I'll defo be going back.
Got quite a bit of Zollo 3 wheelin sideways due to him being a camera hore and as soon as your behind him the showboating starts.... :wink: ...will have to pass the tape on to Jesus to edit and upload.
Rachel managed 1 lap in the passenger with Zollo in the Nana and she couldn't get out quick enough.... :lol:
Forgot to go and see the picture guy so I'll try and find out the company.
Not done the battery trick yet Martin, will probably take it off over night and have a blast tomorrow.....u sorted yours???

change the brake biase using teh brake bias valve under the car :roll:
Pull it out for less rear bias iirc

I think the one from cadwell that I got were pretty good mike and there are 2-3 good ones from oulton but not good enought to warrant spending 10-30 quid lol

Exactly Martin. They rarely convey the "movement" of the car IMO. The one of me at Elvington was taken by a guy that's had one printed in evo, and it shows I think.
A lot of trackday photographers seem to just point and shoot.
The Cadwell ones certainly did look much better than the norm, as did those that Yoz posted at Brands.
They always go and takes the pics in the morning whilst your learning the track and it's wet/damp.....would have got some good shots of everyone if they'd done a few in the afternoon.... :x
true spose I was expecting some extreme lean cornering shots of zollo but none really ....the ones of the nana are pretty pish too imo

:oops: there is little on the vid clio_bus did but I belive Gaz has got some reet good footage of matt provoking some unruly behavior from the willy...just have to wait 6 months to see it.. :wink:

Yes I have some good footage of Zollo doing some crazy showboating.....but the most u get out of me is camcorder to TV not PC.... :?
I also have some footage of him from Donington but again still on tape.... :lol:

if people could bring me a copy of their best footage to the next NW meet I can throw it on the laptop there and then and I can start making a video DVD to display at FCS this year.
I can also get projectors cheap (like cheaper than cheap!) if Northy feels like investing in one for the event 8)

yup, he's terrible, so Rob, although to be fair everytime I see Rob it's usually the morning after a night on the beer... lol
would be good to get all the footage together though, then I can make a highlight video with all the best moments... only thing I'd ask is that you date the footage so I know when it's from, dont want to be mixing up different years.... We could compile some speedo vids, some track, some road convoy footage (FCS etc, Peaks....). Think this would be quite entertaining for us guys n gals mainly and whoever wants to know what WC is all about if we can display it for FCS. Now obviously i'll need time to do this, so sooner I get this footage the better really... lol
