i got in my car b4 and it wouldnt start is it cos its cold or is someting wrong with it???

has it got an imoboliser / did u get any ignition lights / is the battery flat

What was it doing?

Was it turning over, did you have lights on the dash?

How was it turning over, normally or slowley?

Check for a spark

Spark plugs, ht leads (all plugged in), dizzy cap (check contacts), king ht lead (Plugged in), coil.

Check for any dampness anywhere as well.

If thats ok, check to see fi you are getting fuel

mines been doing something similar for the past year, but eventually it did start, changed the coil and now mines spot on

if i were you holly i would take it to a renault specialist

and get it serviced just exsplain just bought it get it full y checked over and hope there is no major problems ...

best to get it all sorted

make sure the garagee has worked on clios before

My gf's brothers williams does somet like that. When he goes somewhere and the engine gets hot, he parks up and then it wont start again. He has to wait for it to cool down and then it starts :? He's not looking forward to summer because it was worse then.

thats proberly the TDC sensor, they like to play up when hot and work when cold!

well my car wouldnt start at all then ive just had the aa out to tow me home!!! :(
its not gettin a spark or somat? my bf is on the case now! :cry:

are you sure its not the imobiliser holl like i showed u!

use the RENAULT ONE on the key you put in ignition not the clifford one

lock the doors with it and then open them and it will start up first time!

had me confused at a petrol station for 5 mins!
