View Full Version : Rear Suspension Problem?

Since I took some concrete flags to the tip on Sunday I've been convinced that something's wrong with the rear suspension but don't know if I'm just imagining it knowing my fronts are fecked.

It seems too soft. Like when you pull away it squats a bit, as it always did, but it does it more loosely if you get me.

Also noticed that sometimes if I sit with my foot on the brake and then release it it rises up.

Could I have fecked something? The last load of flags I took was the equivalent of 3 full 2'x3'x3" concrete paving stones.

Shocks don't effect stiffness, just rebound.

Unless you knackered your torsion bar its you.

If the shocks ahve ghone it will be 'bouncy'

Right, I opened the boot but it doesn't bounce.

What I meant to say above, but was rushing out the office, was that I opened the boot and pushed the floor down to test the damping. There's deffo no bounce.

One thing I was thinking, I'm pretty sure my rear n/s brake's sticking a bit. That might cause it to squat when setting off.
