Looking for some std fitting rear dampers for a 16v car. At the moment the car (tarmac rally car) has been fitted with turrets in the back to take MkII escort rear dampers. I'm looking for some std ish rear dampers for an event. Anyone know are Williams and 16v ones different, how do they mount, what are the thread sizes of the bolts please?

They bolt onto the hub below the brake caliper and to the chassis near the front of the wheel arch. On a lowered car they lay nearly horizonal. The bolts were 16mm head so 10mm thread-ish.

See ya
