As some of you know the Williams is up for sale however I cannot realy bring myself to sell it so I'm trying to justify to mysleft to keep it and use it more but it needs some creature comforts (well make it quieter).

Anyone any idea how much I'm looking for for a whole (Williams preferable) interier cards rear seats (not that important but they'd be nice) and Williams front seats?

Also anyone had any dealing with Gaz I've got there cack suspension kit on the car but the setups to hard I know they can adjust the Mk2 setups can they do the same to the Mk1 setup if so how much is it?

How much for a CAT I need to get the car through the MOT so unless anyone knows where i can have an expensive MOT done I'll probably need one.

Also anyone any idea where I can get specialist insuracne done I was talking to someone and they suggested future classic insurance they had it once on a rally car and it was very cheap but its limited milage but thats no worry for me.
I'd hate to sell the car when I think of it but...

I think we should start a WilliamsClio cat converter post round, seen as most of us are running de-cats.

I've got one spare if you want to borrow it for the MOT, just pay postage and you can have it aslong as I can have it back for my MOT.

See ya

Edde, no ideas on worth of interior tbh, but I can tell you how good Gaz are... which is that they are not, they suck. Standard setup is so much better around any surface on any type of road, thats the only time I have managed to go round Craig's car (but when it was Mehdi's). The difference was huge, but then Reno std suspension does cost a few hundred £££ more...

I think that car just wants some less agressive cams in it and it would be one of the quickest Willy's about again for sure.

I've been told Gaz are improving at a rapid rate John. Apparently (this comes from the stockhatch guys) Leda were teh ones to have, as we all know. BUT. Leda's top bod has gone to Gaz, and since then the Gaz product has markedly improved while Leda's has dropped off the boil.

I had a spare williams interior (back in the day when i had my williams) that I bought for £150 - that included all belts and doorcards too.

Just got to look around. I got mine from a rallyspares website from some bloke who was converting his willy into a track car.

Not sure about the cam agreesion the cams are quite peeky I don't know of anyone else running 270 degree pipers but they kick at 5k and don't seem to drop off.
if I keep it the route I'd go down is some time soon to have a ballenced bottem end and better pistons so it can rev to say 7.8k safly long term whoch would help increase the power band for the 7.2k it is now.
Its only when i went in jamies car I remembered how good stock setup realy is and how nice the seats are.
