would i benifit anything from changing my cone filter to a panel one?? and how do they fit
Yes lots. As the weather gets warmer so the open induction kit will lose you more power. Panel filters just sit in the standard airbox.
Think mine was £31.60 direct from ITG

oh right makes sense, going to have to invest in one, any better than others?

Yeah, in the summer my car is noticably slower with the piper x on it. But when its cold i think its better than a panel filter providing you get a good feed to it. :P
Just relocate it down behind the front bumper.
If a cone induction kit is in cold air it will be better as it has a larger surface area, just need to shove it behind the front bumper and you are sorted

how much better are these than say pipercross or k&n?
And if so, is the difference only noticable on bigger engines?

bump, anyone?
probably no difference mate in reality
foam filters protect the engine better, cotton gauze ones do seem to flow a bit better though, but only when clean, dirt build up affects them more than foam ones

will try and remember tomorrow, if someone wants to text me a reminder that would be best 07764 741467
