Cheers guys. The pics don't do it full justice, this car is minter then some of the nearly new cars i have owned. And everything about it is like new, interior, wheels, steering wheel etc. It has been owned by a top flight manager at BMW as a toy, not seen rain in nearly 3 years and covered 500 miles in the last year!

21-02-2006, 14:27

GLC effect Burberry trim, awesome

love the E30's, always had a thing for them. Shame they never did the M3 in RHD

Ah, bloody ball bags, I'm jealous again :x

Awesome mate, I'm absolutely set on getting one of these at some point.

More details please. It's a 195 standard model yeah?

How does it feel?

clean16v
21-02-2006, 16:50
195 cat model, with a de-cat...so should be back up to 200bhp. Throttle bodies, RWD, LSD.

Munich legends converted around 40 to RHD....there are some knocking about!

I haven't explored the car all that much yet TBH, it's been a little wet and sitll getting the hang of the LHD thing, it feels very capable though. Power is progressive and keeps pulling the the red line. Sounds awesome. And it has a dog leg box, so 1st is where 2nd is on a normal car, 2nd where 3rd is etc etc. Once i get the hang of all this i'll try and push it a bit and see what everyone has been raving about!

21-02-2006, 16:54
make sure you let me have a go before you crash it though mate!!!

Zollo
21-02-2006, 16:54
I've not driven an E30 M3, but I've driven an E30 320iS which has the S14 engine and dog leg 'box. Also LHD. Just made me want an M3 even more!

No faster than a lightly modded Williams really, but it's all about that RWD chassis 8)

Let us know how you get on...

Heard about the 320is, there was one on ebay last week. Same set up almost, not got the box arches, and 1.9 engine instead of the 2.3......i assumed susopension was different though?

J o n

Matt, sounds like your either going to break into song or start reminiscing about the war

It's basically a LHD 325i Sport (with M-tech susp), but with the M3 drivetrain. So it's got the dog leg 'box and a 192bhp 1990cc version of the S14.

Jesus, I'll sing if you want me to?

During the war.....

clean16v
21-02-2006, 17:14
hmm, so only down 8bhp on the full blown M3! strange you don't hear more about them

Zollo
21-02-2006, 17:20
Just don't look as good as the M3, I guess that's the main thing. Also, they don't have the quicker steering rack of the M3, which is one of the major advantages the M3 has over the rest of the E30s.

the e36 drives like a bag of shite for a so called sportscar. the conv. is just laughable. both are more 'tourers' than drivers cars imho. not driven an e30 but supposed to be more purer. id have one - in black
