Just editing mine, got a couple of laps done while the track was still a bit slippery, edited from start/finish line, thisd outing did 4 hot laps, got lap time from 2.33 down to 2.24, but it buggers you up when people piss about over taking slowley.

Got a couple of dabbles with you martin, 2nd time towards the end of the day i stuck with you for pretty much the whole lap :)

Wanna go again, can already see better lines, and wanna go with decent springs

Get that torsion bar sorted

Martin
21-02-2006, 16:50
lol torsion bar is fine .... Looking at the vids it looks soo slow could have carried quite a bit more speed though the faster corners. Gonna try to push a bit more at oulton...need to change my tyres and pads first though.

2 more girls

Bear in mind in all these videos i'm one up

Play with Danny, valver is faster on the straights, recon RSi woudl be superior round a tighter track though

Lunner

Shut it you!!

Couple more clips.

Another encounter with martin outa the pits, he had more faith in his tyres from cold than i did lol

Click (http://www.lunner.co.uk/cadwellclips/martin2.wmv)

....and through my favourite part of the track....and then ffs, vectra had ended up going head on inot the tyre wall at the hairpin....twat!! 2nd time he had been off that day, first time was down teh hill into the tyre wall taking his front bumper off and closing the track for ages while they rebuilt the tyre wall

My car is on 131k, and i had a passenger, and he weighs more than an interior :P

richy
21-02-2006, 22:58
ur engine weighs less to, aswell as 0 no -5 interior! so nah nah

Lunner
21-02-2006, 23:00
i believe my car is 5-15kgs lighter, plus i was running best part of half a tank of fuel when we had that encounter.

****ing wish i hadn't gone and given him tips now lol

Martin
21-02-2006, 23:32
Nice vids there Lunner...tbh I think you did pretty well against Danny's valver it's one of the quicker ones about....he just had more on the long straight specially the uphill run up the mountain....

Lunner
21-02-2006, 23:35
Cheers Martin :)

Didnt' realise it was quick one lol

Got a video of me drifting towards the grass at some point, but got 90 mins of video to sift through to find it, alsowanna get a deent fast lap up to see what teh lap times i was doing towards the end of the day were.

Seriously wanna go back and have another go now

Justin..
21-02-2006, 23:36

21-02-2006, 23:39
pics? lol msn em if ya want ?

Lunner
21-02-2006, 23:39
Camera inc delivery was about £30 and moutn was about £5, oh and a big ass memory card cost me £30.

Fooking used 3 sets of Duracell AA batterys throughout the day tho!!!

Lunner
21-02-2006, 23:40

seems a decent cheap camera there mate. id get one...but hate things that munch batteries. bought a cheap still digital camera last year and it does the same. its a pain in the arse....and like kids - you cant take it anywhere!

Lunner
21-02-2006, 23:44
Need to get some rechargable ones, but when you pay £3.50 for 12 duracell bbatteries and use it for track days only it makes it worth while

Rich
23-02-2006, 15:57
this is from the first page as i've not been on in a few days :P*or maybe you want to just admit defeat  the amount of weight of a passenger vs full std interior wont be significant enough to make a difference for the gap he pulled on you

Lunner
23-02-2006, 16:59
On the striaghts he is faster, no doubt, but it was more or less neck and neck through teh corners, on a tighter track i recon teh RSi would have the advantage.

Admit defeat....never...plus danny's is a fast un lol

Rich
23-02-2006, 17:00
lol bah you should have had a do with mine as well as that was in the same trim as dannys! well there are plenty at FCS so we will see against a whole range of them :D

Lunner
23-02-2006, 17:06
Yeah, never actually saw BAyliss on track when i was on there, plus he is mad lol

Will have a good do at Bruntingthorpe, even tho tis a flat boring circuit lol

Oh btw it will eat your tyres compared to proper circuits

Rich
23-02-2006, 17:07
aye he set the fooker on fire at one point! (never let him near a black valver her's jealous lol), i found out last year as iirc you did too! likes to rip tyres to bits!

Lunner
23-02-2006, 17:08
Could have, you are gonna ahve to be more specific tho, memory is like a seive lol

Rich
24-02-2006, 10:43
you were on teh track too right? and it ripped tyres to bits

Laine_16v
24-02-2006, 10:52
Where'd you get that camera from? Looks bargaintastic for £30!

Justin..
24-02-2006, 18:03
i just bought on on ebay! £35

Lunner
24-02-2006, 18:12

I had plenty of squeeling round teh corners and i think i took about 1-2mm off the tyres.

But then iw as running differnt pressures to my road tyres, 35PSI fronts, and 30PSI rears (thats when they were hot), take about 2-5 PSi off depending on which tyres you are lookign at for cold pressures.

IE o/s/r only gained about 1-2psi when hot, where as teh n/s/f gained about 6-7psi

Some really good vids there lunner and martin!

Was a great day and an excellent track, some good driving from both Lunner, martin and the lads!

Lunner, i've got to say mate, the valver and williams are more superior round a track, even a tight and twisty circuit, it just depends on the driver to be honest mate, i think on some of those corners you were quicker than I was, as martin was, however, with racing drivers in both cars, the outcome would be the same, williams, valver and then RSI mate!

No doubt there was some great driving and it's a good car with good low end torque but surely the valver must be a better car as why would renault bother building it if not?

But like i said above, greats cars, great day, excellent driving!

Danny
