is 161k miles on a car too much?? :?
im interested in buying one but the miles are putting me off what does everyone think??

snakey ladys(pats) williams 2 has 150K and is still running as sound as a pound! if the car has been looked after all its life then i cant see there being a problem!

what does it drive like? does it have a good oil pressure when hot and cold? does it have a fsh? have u checked to make sure that the arches are rust free? is there play in the steering wheel? are all gears smooth and no excessive play when u boot it in all gears? is the coolant clean? how high does the water temp sit when normal driving? have u checked to see if there is any oil in the spark plugs? how many owners has it had?

you can come down and test it out its fine i literally need money for my pulsar.

i was close to keeping it at one point but in my eyes you only live once and i want a turbo beast(pulsar GTIR)

yeh insurance is a killer, i am waiting till i turn 21 to go on my own....... but mine is still £1080 under my dads with maximum no claims, im 19!!!!! thats for a williams with no mods?????????

oooh 20 wiv 3 points... insurance wont b kind then! i aint even bothered gettin a quote coz i know it will b silly amount and i've jus had my car done up so wana keep it 4 a bit!

that quote is well good.....

i paid that last year for my clio wiv the kit and that on!

only pay £600 now tho coz i been drivin nearly 3 years!

I was 20 when I got my Williams 3.
Wasn't cheap to insure - insurance companies loved quoting me though.. :lol: Only had it TPFT for 10 months tho..

Was much nicer when I hit 21 and better still now I'm 22.. (altho, Williams 2 now ;) )

yeh can be a mistake depending on what car you want though, also i am building no claims through being a named driver anyway.

yeh its a good way to do it, alot of insurance companies take into consideration if you have been driving another car regually, and can count them as no claims

i've been quoted bout £1300 to insure a williams 1... so i think i'll definately get one wen i get bored of mine and can afford one!

yep sounds good i got quotes on all of them and my max one was £1400! it seems to be cheaper on the willy 1!

i pay 890 tpft with dl. i wasnt prepared to pay stupid amounts of money to getinsured on a car or id have bought a valver the year before and paid £1400.........fuk that!
