rear wiper intermittent?

my rear wiper works when it feels like it :x i've checked the connector and have a decent feed and got a earth. i would suspect the motor, but before i start splashing my bucks is there anything else i should check or it's likely to be?

check your fuses are all pushed in and havent wriggled out due to vibration

mine does this as well. Im sure its water getting into the connector thats near the motor. Spraying some wd40 in there and leaving it a minute usually works.
