looked it up in haynes, removed it from behind clocks, removed it from bulk head...

then, could not figure out how to remove it from the gearbox?

haynes said "there are different types of clips, note how your is removed"


anyone??

squeeze the black clip and pull it out simple :-)

had a crack at that yeaterday, its really stiff. i'll another go...

They do get very stuck sometimes, soak it in lots of WD40 and leave for a while.
Failing that, try gripping it with pliers but be warned, might break it.
