And thats it, slow but its progress, needs to be done for 6th may as its booked into Bastck rolling road. Its a B18ft if you didnt know, 1.7T form a volvo, looking for about 180bhp :)

Plans for the rest of the engine, em get it in, 6 months so far! Its in its final stages so hopefully soon. Its had some mild head work, its will be running a modified volvo ecu. A t25 will be joining the party soon and an uprated 5 Gtt clutch (roll on pay day)

And yes it will be at FCS even if john has to tow the shitter! ;)

Lunner may be interested to know that all the manifolds and turbo etc bolt straight onto the RSi lump, as the volvo engine is basically the same black just with low comp pistons and a smaller cc :D

displacement is the same iirc. 1764cc

Renault rounded up whereas Volve rounded down.

Having just broken up with my girlfriend i havent really done much. (sorry guys)

But i am getting over it! so done a little work last night. Fresh and new oil pump in.

Sumps ready to go back on, took 2 hrs to scrape all of the sealent off but i bought a gasket for it so wont have to ever do that job again! Ever!!!!!

Done a bit of cleaning with the steam cleaner today (about and hour) it will be painted high temp silver as it is still a bit tarnished, not too bad for an 88 engine :)

seems like your putting a lotta pride into this project - big up!

cars are always a good way to take your mind off women problems :cry:

what do you do as a job...seems like you have plenty free time to play with the car!!! 8)

Its my first proper engine build so i am taking as much pride as poss.

i work for halfords 5 out of 7 so dont have that much time, finish at 8 every day and have to work weekends. There is a deadline and its getting closer so i am stepping it up a gear. Plus i have this week off :)
