Has the back been done recently?

If it has then it won't be seized and it will take me all of 20 mins tops to change the height for you at the start of the day.....we aven have a qualified Renault monkey to offer advice

Don't think it's been changed recently...cheers for the offer but I think it would be best to get used to the car on the road rather than taking it down then going hell for leather..round cadwell.

I'm going for one spin. Two reasons...

1. There's not much run-off, so it's likely the first spin will be the last

2. If you get away with it, you won't be doing it again :P

So good luck! Look forward to seeing the footage 8)

lol I'm a master in the art of spinning a car within it's own length

I'm gonna try to take it easy and make it round without incident for the first time since my oulton in 2004....the lack of run off is deffo in my thoughts!

Plenty of footage will be had :)

I've got 2 new tyres on my trwack wheels, cars been cleaned to reduce the weight, and i have a new lower ball joint.

Need to bleed brakes tomorrow and i'll be sorted.

I've been sideways and had 'moments' at all the track days i've done, always in the wet, so i'm hoping for dry weather

So what's the conclusion then Lunner? Standard Valver or standard RSi makes a better track car?

Lunner

tbh it was pretty neck and neck, he pulled on the straights, i was stripped but had a passenger, he had most of his interior in.

Personally i'll stick with the RSi, just cus of the fact that on alot of the corners i was short shifting and etering the next corner at about 3-4kk revs, and not having to do a quick gear change between corners and unsettleing the car, i could keep it planted, and exit the 2nd corner towards the top end of 4th
