finally ive found a headlight bulb thats a good jump up from standard, without paying PIAA prices

we deal with a company at work who specialise in lighting products, called Ultra, they have just brought out there own range of road legal bulbs

ive just fitted some and the difference is amazing........

£21.95 they are @ any Motor World

need to be ordered in but no delivery charge is on top of that price and you should see em within 3 working days, the company despaatch orders very quickly

What about the 100w halfords rally bulbs for £8 each that i'vwe been harping on about for ages now?

these are road legal though

ive had 100W bulbs in before and obviously they are good, but these are standard wattage, road legal, and produce loads more light

the lights on these cars are definitely a weak point and these bulbs improve things no end !

Power2night GT150 is what I have, and they are by far the best lights I've used.. so bright and they actually work.. which is weird seeing as the lights are normally crap on the Phase1/2 Clio's!

these are better than those, ive had the GT150's before and they are very good, one of the few that do actually produce better light

I use Philips Vision Plus H4s. Make the Clio's crap headlight design slightly better. Still can't see faster than 80mph on a pitch dark highway though. IMO, the problem with this car is headlight throw distance rather than intensity for night time highway driving.

Do you have an actual part number or company reference number for them to look it up on their system, or should i just get em to phone you? lol

who do they ask for if they wanna call you?

Cheers

they wont need to ring me mate, my name is Martyn though

all they will do is look in the Ultra catalogue, which we have loads around our shop free to customers, they are in that about 10 pages in from the front, the part number is in that

then they will get on the phone to our tech dept who will sort out the order, then you just pay em, or a 25% or more deposit and the balance on collection

if i had a catalogue to hand id give you the part number

just in case you didnt know the Clio Mk1's all take a H4 bulb, unless you have changed the headlights to those angel eye ones
