View Full Version : fitting engine to engine stand

can any 1 help with pics of this....will be fitting the engine 2 the stand in the next few days....not exactly sure how 2 do it though :?

i take it the engine bolts on 2 it...where do i screw the bolts in2 the block?

you have to take the gearbox off, the bolt it to the holes where the gearbox bolted to

no i've had a few days off work, lol

Yes flywheel end, you don't know much about cars mate do you :D :D

nope i pretty much kno fa about cars :D - but thats wot im on here 4....learn sumthin new every day! - every minute in my case :lol:


me and geezer are striping an F7R engine, its still on the crain though lol....weve tuk the fly wheel off and suspectd the stand bolts 2 the side of the engine where the flywheel was but wasnt 100% sure....

thought id check, dont want the engine fallin off! :shock:

are you close to shirley ? Theres a place called andrews metals and alloys near the VW garage on the stratford road
