well, i hope it is :?

i looked at a mag about hot hatches and saw f16 i.e. before i bought mine, so im assuming mine is.

its just confusing for a noob like me, i keep seeing "f7r" and i wonder why dont i have that in my engine bay.....

16v and Williams have F series engines, the 16 is 16v and I E is Injection electronique, I believe

F7R is the williams engine code

**** knows the valver one, but its F-summat :P

Valver is F7P.

Ignore the F16ie bit.

F16 ie is just the general engine spec for the mk1 16v's, but the williams engine itself is F7R and 1.8 is F7P

You cant tell the difference between the 2 engines mate. To the un-trained eye they look identical.

Without the 1.8 the willys 2.0 wouldnt exist though :P

They're just the codes for the different families of engines. 1.0-1.4 ltrs (used in R5's and mk1 Clio's) start with C, 1.8 (including 8-valves) & 2.0 start with F

yeah megane says f7r on it!

valver has big ugly cast manfold f7p

williams has tubular manifold f7r!!

spot the difference!
