Switching between phases??

If I had a phase 2, what would I need to retro fit it to phase one?

Headlights?
Tail lights?
Bumpers?
Mirrors?
Tailgate?


Anything else??

Is the bonnet and headlights the same??

bonnet is same, headlights are same, but the brow under them on phase 2 are colour coded, mirrors are different shape and then front grille on ph2 is also colour coded... rear lights are more rounded on ph2 and the tailgate has the reflective trim.

I think all these bits look better, apart from the wing mirrors, which have grown on me and i now prefer... doh... lol

the bump strip on the bumper in between the lights is diferent as well

think its flatter than p2 and also has the clio beadges on it instead of on the boot its self!

So if I swapped the grill, mirrors and rear lights it would look pretty much phs 1?? Apart from the strip?

I want turbines as well so will needs to sell the phs 2 rims

Let me know when you're selling the ph2 rims.

Most important bits to change are rear boot strip and lights and the big gay mirrors for the more streamlined ph1 jobbies.

nope, that was only early phase 1's from J-K reg with the blue/yellow/black interior.

pikey, turdbines are the future, polished ones are pimpest though! Swerv's look amazing

looks like I will have to hunt a set down then. They don't need to be mint as they will be painted, as long as they are straight

Phase 1 valvers had silver trim inside the bumpstrips so if you got the side ones you would need to get phase 1 front and rear bumpers to match it if you wanted it to really look like a phase 1.
Its much easier to go from phase 1 to phase 2!

the clips are different so you're gonna need a bunch of clips aswell, then the sticker inserts in the front and rear bumpers to match the sidestrips.

Phase 1 mirrors aswell coz the ph2 are plain ghey :D

unless you've debadged the boot then a phase 1 boot strip will look really gay as you'll have 2 lots of renault and clio badges :lol:
