So light, the wildlife doesn't even know it's parked up on it!
Nice car, can shift too!
i spy a top dash! Get it sorted man! LOL
Looks ace that!
Slagstastic!
Get the rear end down a little. It aint ment to be that high (even as standard)! Its just all that weight you have taken out!
Use Zed's guide to lower it, 1 hour job!
All you need is....
1 x Jack
1 x Jill
2 x axle stands
1 x 30mm+ socket
1 x M10 bolt
1 x M10 nut
1 x spanner to fit M10 nut
1 x wd40 can
1 x screwdriver (flat blade)
1 x hammer
Really is easy...if i can manage then so can you! :P
P.S Give it a clean!
If u ain't gonna clean it u best PM northy to bring his bucket and sponge...

Marks out of 10? 8
Comments? Could try harder.
Get that sunroof out, and lose the trim under the lights, the roof spoiler, the aerial, the doorhandles and locks on the passenger side, the top dash, the rear washer nozzle. :P

Why does it need to be lower at the back? Everyone knows standard suspension is the best.
love them windows martin, proper job! oh and the silver bonnet vent!
how did you get it behind there and not get stuck in the mud????lol
good effort martin, but give it a clean!
Bring it round and ill sort it again, still not paid for last time!!!!
Looks sl@gtastic.
Get it cleaned for SATURDAY though.

i know you like dirty cars martin, but think of the extra weight on it
looked a right beast at pod 8)

just looks it because the fronts lower....maybe lol
Most likely down to the weight watchers crash diet that happened in the back.
Get it down the weigh bridge and see how much you are at...
and if you are really serious, then stick it on some corner posts and balance it up...that stance is just too front heavy...
front looks fine just back end stuck up to far!
sort it now!

Martin is that house near pilling? (you're going to think im a proper stalking freak now if it is  )
Car looks excellent as always... love it :D
yes it is Mish....you're not watching my type this right now are you??

By taking out the rear bench on mine - 20 kg's - made the rear raise up about 25mm from std ride height!
Lower the rear so its about 15mm or 20mm higher than the front. That is the perfect setup! 8)
Like the fixed windows.
Are they plastic? Back windows too?

Yeh sounds good...you can show me what a proper car does on Pilling straight while I crawl along in what looks like a very 'girly' car in comparrison!
And tbh...I don't think it would look right clean :D

They certainly are...polycarbonate..everthing apart form the windscreen.
Cool, the spirit of the banana lives on! We need a proper video of this car with the banana on track. Too bad there won't be a re-match with Winston's deceased black valver, unless he's building another one :)
Well I'm hoping to be at oulton parl when Gaz take the nana down in a couple of weeks so there might be some footage then. :)

Usually when tehy try to make a fwd car handle they INCREASE weight on teh rear axle rather than REDUCE it lol, as richy says, no wonder you are always spinning
Ideal weighting is 50/50 front/rear
Thanks for that sherlock...
Nose down stance is best for handling I believe...too low at the back=undeeersteer
theres nose down then theres nose stuffed into the gournd down lol when i stripped mine i found the back end way to skittish and always stepping out even at low speeds, yes the front should be lower but only by about 10-15mm ideally! not about 1ft difference
yeah, yeah that why the back will coming down a touch..... :P
tbh it was'nt bad at donny only came around twice...both times around craner though
lol when on average u will be doing 90-100mph there! all i did was lower mine 20mm at the back, its still higher then the front and handlng is spot on, def dont understeer unless i proper overcook it!
yeah mine is around 15mm higher at the back than the front. only had one spin on a wet bad cambered roundabout! mostly lift off oversteer that caused the spin, but if i didnt lift off id have been in a field! LOL
I am with Martin on keeping the lively rear but not too excessive. Perhaps he should tame the rear a little but don't completely dial it out.
I find it easier to corner with the option to turn-in the car by lifting the throttle to tuck in the nose. With the wide-track setup, it should be quite predictable. It's a matter of getting used to what the car will do when rear tyres break adhesion. Only time I found it dangerous was with Dunlop SP9000s in the wet. With those crap tyres, the car had a mind of its own at and beyond limit.
i never said he should lower it right down, just bring it down abit, mine is higher at the back then the front, and if u lift off mid corner it steps out but its alot better now and easy to play with, as i found out at donny trackday!! ive only spun twice both at angelsey in the wet, once i touched a kerb overtaking the nana and chucked me right of, the other was atabout 70 and out braking myself lol!
dont get me wrong i love how easy it is to lift off and let it step out but it was overkill before i lowered the back(after i stripped it )
