i'm just going on a post seen on f7 power where he says that his engine gave up on 98k, could be wrong but i'm sure he knows milage goes on the car not the engine. not wanting to cause a stir or anything so give him chance so reply

Why would semi synth be better?? I use 5w40 fully synth as it better for thrashing the car ..as the oil temps get high.

again complete rubbish......

a 5W-40 fully synthetic oil is the SAME thickness as a 15W-40 when fully up to temp.......its only thinner from start up, which is GOOD !
