Pro's and con's please.

Spoke to Nick at hill power and he has a engine without a box. I'm thinking conversion, but using my valver box.

Thh Jesus is the man who has the answers IIRC.

Different gearing, not as strong.

What else you want to know? :D

Cant see it making much difference, excluding the difference in gearing. Gearing is longer than the Willy.

well my conclusion thus far is that it is exactly the same as the Williams box, but with a shorter 5th. When me n Northy went head to head we were changing at the exact same time at the same revs. Only difference is supposed to be 5th gear... but again, we both pulled just as hard and had the exact same top end or about 145mph on the clocks. TBH it's cheaper to buy and half the price to recon. I'll get these all day long at around £100 a time if they go, rather that than pay twice the amount for a Willy box, end of the day they are all shite and there's always the fear of it going bang, so go cheapest imo

Been using the 16v box on mine for 10k, box is on 104k still going strong with 162bhp fed through it. Pulls very hard in 5th, but not recommended for motorway driving lol. with 195/45 15's mine tops out on the limiter at 130.

i love mine on the mway now, always in the power band cos it's reving so high! that and the fact that it's always over 4k and it's actually quieter over 3k and less boomy for some reason... lol
