Excellent day! The first time I've taken my own car out on track plus I was out on track with the likes of tuned up RX-7's and also a Ferrari Testarossa! Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures so you'll just have to be happy with the photos of my car.
Couple before heading out on track -

Coops, it was fine being a newbie cos it was meant to be a novice day (but I don't think most of the people there were novices!) so there was no pressure to go really quickly and they did a ducks and drakes sesh at the beginning so you could get to know the track better. Also tuition was available, which was useful for feedback on your driving.
Scott, I was really worried about breaking my car before hand too but she coped so well! I'll probably invest in an oil cooler at some point but that would be more for peace of mind cos my oil wasn't getting rediculously hot!

I do that, after a couple or corners you soon realise you can't, or can in the case of the TVRs at Donnington

My advice is DO IT.

I've done 3 days now (one being teh Haynes sprint) and I've learnt stupid amounts about how to drive quick and just what the car can do.

I was having no trouble keeping with stripped 309/205 GTIs at Elvington with a passenger. Whether that's crap driving on their part I couldn't say.

Trouble is I end up spending too much time enjoying getting the car out of shape to put quick laps in. :P
