i've just taken my wiliams 2 to k-tec to have the engine rebuilt and some mods. i was wondering if anyone had had these mods at k-tec and wat proven power and torque figures they,ve had. the mods are as folows:

piper fast road cams and chip to match
supersprint manifold
head port and polish
de cat
scorpion exhaust
fuel pressure boost valve

Nice mods mate. If it was a strong engine to start of with i reckon around 170-175 hp maybe...

people have made aropund the same with similar mods. some have made even more 8)

should be looking at 180bhp plus if you get the cams timed in properly, and decent mapping on the chip!

Why? If the car is properly mapped it does'nt need a fse they are shit... :?

well if ketcs gains are proven on their products.... 10,000?

i reckon ull be around the 175-190 mate, not sure on torque, it'll certainly be quicl

the bit that worries my about your specification is that the "chip" is being used in conjunction with the cams and headwork. this is utter crap....you want a proper remap mate. not some off the shelf chip.

hmmmm....i cant see that tbh mate....if the cars mapped properly it wont need one as martin says.

they dont do fuk all tbh....except pressurize the fuel system a little more.

the re-map def needs to be mapped to suit YOUR car/engine, as stan says..def not an off the shelf jobby.

but if done right....big IF...u should see good gains.....175-180 ish i wouldf say realistically
